The Swiss company RONDO was founded in 1948 and is now a leading global supplier of machines and installations for producing dough bands and processing them into dough pieces for croissants, pastries, bread and rolls, pizzas and donuts. Customers include companies of all sizes – from small artisan bakeries to industrial producers. All these machines, lines and installations are based on their dough-how, their company’s unique combination of expert knowledge and experience in dough and technology.
In 1953, RONDO invented and patented the world’s first dough sheeter. Even now, the company is still the innovation leader in the industry. The RONDO Group employs around 430 people at its headquarters in Burgdorf and in ten subsidiaries and sales offices in Europe, the USA and Asia. The export share is 95 percent.
