Restaurant Service

Restaurant Service

A visit to a restaurant is first and foremost a gastronomic experience, but there is more to it than that. A key component of customer satisfaction is the quality of service. Nowadays, a very large part of the reviews given to catering establishments via the Internet is precisely about the relationship between the customer and the service.

The waiter must be very familiar with all the items on the restaurant's menu. He is competent to easily talk about the cuisine that the dish represents, and list the ingredients used and their origin. At the same time, he knows and understands the methods that the kitchen uses to prepare and serve food, and what tools and technologies were used to do so.

Restaurant service is also distinguished by impeccable dress, good manners and special attention to personal hygiene. Communication skills are also crucial here, allowing one to easily provide service even to the most demanding restaurant customer.
